business opportunities
Dear all,
How do you react to the words “Business opportunity”? Do you think “yeah right” or “great, I’m all in”?
As you know we are constantly striving to expand our global presence and since July we have travelled a number of European countries and have been fortunate to meet with very interesting local companies.
We travel to introduce thatlitething as a concept as well as a business opportunity. Some say that the timing is not right as they are quite successful with what they are doing at the moment. Others say that as they look 2-3 years down the road, they need to act now to have their companies in position for the future.
No matter how we build our companies, no matter how many plans we have ready, reacting positively to a business opportunity is a demanding endeavour. You need to be courageous, to be able to read the market well, to be a first mover and a change agent and to be lucky.
Let’s say, just for fun, that we are all selling the same products to the same clients and price is the primary factor. Would it then be a business opportunity to take a new concept on? A concept that no one else has in your market, hence a concept that could eliminate direct competition?
If you say YES to the above, trust me; thatlitething is absolutely something for you…

ecological concern
Reduction of the carbon footprint and general ecological awareness have become two of the most prominent issues on the agenda for businesses today. Our clients in the marketing and tradeshow departments are under pressure, both internally and externally to show commitment and results from their own departments.
Many companies are keen to use a wide range of claims and arguments to promote themselves and their products with an environmentally friendly tag line. However it is clear that lite has an outstanding range of qualities and advantages, aside from the ultimate recyclability of the plastic, that place it in a category of its own.
Lightweight panels and ancillary components ensure a reduction on the impact of transportation and drayage both nationally and internationally. lite’s durability and lifespan enable it to be used time and again. Renewed graphics and alternative layouts ensure that it can be visually refreshed endlessly.
Finally and perhaps most importantly, lite has a versatility that will enable it to fulfil a major role across departments, sectors and functions within conferences, tradeshows, showrooms and shopping malls.
With regard to eco-friendly exhibiting lite should clearly be a ‘preferred option’!

new base for lite in germany
We are proud to announce that we have opened a new office in Stuttgart, Germany. The German office and stock facilities along with the close partnership with a local graphics company, will enable us to move quickly on demands for lite on the German market.
Germany is the biggest exhibition market in the world, hosting some of the biggest exhibitions and having the five largest exhibition facilities in the world.
With the opening of a new 105.000 m2 exhibition centre just next to the international airport, our new German base provides us, as well as our clients and lite-partners, with great opportunities. Head of the new Germany office is Marco Bosnjak who has had over 5 years of experience working with the full lite product range.
A Protean Germany website is under construction and will soon be launched.
